Fall Ball Registration is now open. Don't wait - register above.

Fall Ball Overview:

Boys and Girls schedules. One game per week on Saturday afternoons starting September 11 running through October 30. No practices. Re-laxed fun. For 7th and 8th Grade players (7/8), eligibility carries over from the the Spring season, so 9th graders are eligible as long as they are U15-2010 (birth year 1995 and younger) and are not currently on a high school roster.

Fall Ball Girls 2010
by posted 09/08/2010

The Girls Fall Ball Schedule starts this Saturday at the Glen.

To start the season off (Sept 11th), here is the schedule: 1:00 PM-2:15 PM 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders. 2:15 PM-3:30 PM 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders.

Under the on field guidance of Matt Nunes, the girl's will run through approximately 20 minutes of skills, followed by controlled scrimmages. The scrimmages will be played 7 vs 7, to give more ball handling time to each player.

Volunteers: we have had some parents come forward to help, and we can always use more. So please, if you are interested in helping, please let us know. No lacrosse experience is necessary, just good corralling abilities.

To be scheduled later in the season will be jamborees with South County and E. Greenwich.

Please arrive a little early on Saturday to stretch, throw and we should have the fall pinnies as well.

Feel free to contact Blair MacKenzie with any questions.

by posted 09/08/2010

Fall Ball starts this Saturday at the Glen.  The schedule is posted above under Fall Ball Boys. We are listed as P/IYL. or PIYL since we are Portsmouth and IYL for the Fall. In the meantime, you should have received an email with an attached schedule.

All 1/2 Games will be at the Glen starting at Noon

All 3/4 games will start at 2:00 PM

All 5/6 Games will start at 3:00 PM

All 7/8 Games will start at 4:00 PM

3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 games will be played at the Glen, Narragansett, Coventry, and East Greenwich. Please refer to the schedule. All our games this weekend will be at the Glen.

There will be no practices.

This is a "no body-checking" season meaning that incidental contact or "equal pressure" only will be allowed.

Please arrive early enough to warmup for your game as we must start on time to keep things moving for the next group.

Always wear full gear including helmet, shoulderpads, armpads, gloves, and mouthguard. If not properly equipped, you cannot play. Pinnies will be provided.

Coaches at all experience levels always welcome.

Feel free to contact Steve DeLeo with any general questions.
